Welcome to Leitrim School of Art

Leitrim School of Art provide art classes and workshops to the public in all age groups. We operate from well-equipped studios in Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre and in Ballinamore as part of the recently redeveloped Junction project on the site of the old railway station.

At Leitrim School of Art children love creating in the lively and imaginative environment where art is fun. Adults, beginners and those developing their skills, enjoy the informal, sociable and relaxed atmosphere.

Adult Classes and workshops include Ceramics, Creative Writing, Crochet, Drawing, Italian Language and Culture, Jewellery, Painting, Photography, Stained Glass and Willow Basket Weaving. We are continually adding to this list.

Classes run in 4 week blocks, one day per week both evenings and daytime. One day workshops run on Saturdays and Sundays.

For adults we also run corporate workshops and host art activity sessions for special occasions such as birthdays and hen parties. We also work with schools, local groups and public organisations in providing arts and crafts sessions to diverse groups of people.

Children’s classes, for 5+ years, include general arts and crafts, and for the older age groups there are specialist classes such as Animation and Manga and Anime. During school breaks at Easter, Summer and Halloween, we run 4 day children’s camps and host kid’s birthday parties throughout the year.
